| Each Beeswax Ear Candle is fashioned with a quality cotton fabric; natural and unprocessed, then soaked in a totally organic blend of dark and light 100% beeswax. It is wrapped to form a tube with a narrow end. The nature of natural beeswax and cotton leaves a somewhat unrefined look to the finished product. Some people call it "scruffy". We don't add enhancers, vybar, paraffin, or any chemicals to polish the candle like other companies do. You use the finished product just as we do--in it's purest state. Amish Ear Candles may not look as "commercial" as Wally's, but we don't make you pay for excessive packaging and chemicals. Our products make us happy and we hope you will be happy too. Our Paraffin Ear Candles are an affordable alternative to Beeswax. Some customers like a longer candle and the polished look that paraffin leaves. The burn time is up to 15 minutes with paraffin ear candles. Although we are not allowed to make any claims regarding ear candling benefits, some ear candling advocates claim the procedure will cleanse the ear canal, improve hearing, relieve ear aches and relieve sinus pressure. They believe through a process called convection, softer ear waxes can be drawn into the base of the candle. Ear Candlers believe the softer waxes may contain trapped pollen, airborne dust and dirt, and even ear mites or small insects. When excess wax is removed, the trapped impurities go with it.
